The broad northern sweep of the Australian continent is a spectacular area, encompassing some of the most unusual, richly bestowed natural environments to be found anywhere in the world. From the splendour of The Kimberley, to the deep Katherine River snaking through its sandstone gorge, to the flood plains of Kakadu National Park, this region, with its abundance of rare flora and fauna and strangely beautiful rock formations is as varied and exciting as anything you'll see. The continuous home of Aboriginal inhabitants for more than 40,000 years, the area is also the site to some of the world's oldest rock art.

Odyssey Tours & Safaris are based in Darwin and operate throughout this northern region of Australia. We take you right through the Top End staying at our permanent camps in Litchfield and Kakadu National Parks or if you prefer motel and lodge accommodation is also available if you wish.

Our private "Classic" Safaris travel through out the Top End of the Northern Territory as well into The Kimberley in northern Western Australia. In fact we can position ourselves anywhere from Darwin to a remote airstrip on an outback property. We can tailor our tours to suit your own requirements.

Guests travel in comfortable air-conditioned four-wheel drive vehicles, designed to journey anywhere in the Top End region, even the remotest locations, and are provided with quality permanent tented accommodation. Our 'Safari Tents' are designed specifically for the range of tropical climates. Camp oven open fire cooking is one of our specialties.
