Getting There

Air

Darwin is situated on the north coast of the Northern Territory. We are 1500 kilometres north of Alice Springs (three hours by plane), approximately four hours by air from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, and three hours by air from Cairns.

Visitors can fly directly into Darwin from most other Australian Capitals or via Singapore or Brunei. For tours through the Kimberley, clients can fly into Kununurra or Broome on regular air services.

Rail

The Ghan Passenger Train provides a twice-weekly service from Adelaide to Darwin. The 47-hour, 2979 kilometre journey is considered one of the worlds great train experiences.

Road

If you have the time, of course you can drive to Darwin - sealed highways connect us to all other Australian Capital cities.
